About the College :
Under guidance and patronage of Hon President Sri Gundappa Gowda and Hon Secretary Sri P Vishwanath, and as a team working together. Established in year 2002 K. Puttaswamy PU College, Mysore is an envisioned to offer the valued based education and cater the needs of all the sections of society by providing the affordable cost of education by strongly promote academic achievement among students. College drawing on the talents and skills of staff, students and parents to provide a host of educational programmes offered by the PU Department of Karnataka. Wholesome participation is encouraged in the extensive range of extra-curricular activities on offer and care is also taken to ensure the well-being and happiness of each and every student in the college.
With a long and rewarding history of achievement in education behind us, our college community continues to move forward together with confidence, pride and enthusiasm. Located in heart of the city and well connected by the public transit and excellent all-round education for our students in our state of the art facilities in physics, chemistry, biology and computer science laboratory with well stocked library. The college offers science and commerce streams of combinations PCMB, PCMC, ECBA, EGBA with English as Second language and Kannada, Hindi and Sanskrit as elective first language respectively
Provision of an excellent all-round education for our students in pertains to academics along with CET, COMED-K, JEE, NEET classes are reached to the student of science stream through the CARE Academy, Mysore. Encouragement in the sports like kabaddi, volleyball, and throw ball also help the student to get expose to outside world and to exhibit their talents through cultural, sporting and other successes.
An Hat trick One hundred percentage of outstanding result was been seen in PU board examination in year 2024 with 67 distinctions and 84 first class was able to achieve through regular basis of test and examinations under the constant guidance of highly dedicated, qualified and experienced teaching staff and special lecturers by experienced lecturers to outcome the fear of examination.
